The Houston VW Club has announced that their Show N Shine is back on at the Pappas Barbeque parking lot, located on hwy 290 across the street from Logans. This event will take place on the 2nd Sunday of every month. See you there on June 13, 2010. Bring your car, your wife, your kids, and your in-laws and friends.

Christmas On The Square

Everyone that is interested in attending a country Christmas celebration, this is the one to attend. This is located in David Blades hometown of Crockett, Tx. There is a classic open car show, however, David sponsors the VW's and we are not judged with the rest of the cars. Lets go and show David how much we appreciate him.
Okay folks, here is the info for those that are wanting to go to Crockett for their annual show. According to the flyer, it is held on the Square in Crockett. The GPS coordinates are: Latitude: 31.32 N, Longitude: 95.46 W for those using the electronic map. The car show runs from 9am to 4pm but the activities on the Square start at around 8am. There will be plenty of parking available as will be many activities for everyone, ranging from food to rifles/shotguns raffled off. Crockett is approx 2 - 2 1/2 hours North of Houston. Morris and Sykes Families Attend Cenla Bug Fest 2011
Group from North Houston VW Club arrives at Cenla Bug Fest Cooler Cruise at Ball, Louisiana. They are cruising to the Oakland Plantation for a tour and lunch. Saturday evening the Group will enjoy a Drive-in movie featuring a Double Classic Horror Feature. Sunday is the VW Show and Swap Meet.
